The rainwater system at the Kroc Center consists of two 65,639 gallon storage tanks with hundreds of feet of service line from 6" pipe up to 24" pipe with a total storage of just under 250,000 gallons. The rainwater is used for irrigation of the complex and was designed to add future storage. The system collects from the roof (approximately 950,000 gallons per year) and the swimming pool deck (approximately 250,000 gallons per year) for a total of 1,200,000 gallons per year including the air conditioning condensation.
